TIMING
The
Foundation receives and reviews research applications in March
and November annually. Accordingly applications must be received
by the secretary no later than February 10 and October 10 every
year. All applicants will be advised of the success or otherwise
of their application.
RESEARCH
APPLICATIONS
Grants to successful applicants in recent years have typically
been around or under $30,000. While grants are sometimes considerably
less, the trustees receive applications for and have granted much
larger amounts than this. Information sheets for applicants are

page on this site, along with a guide for applicants. Alternatively

OBJECTS
The
objectives of the Foundation are to support high quality research
in New Zealand into studies that address problems with mental health
by providing funding for studies into their epidemiology, aetiology,
pathology, clinical presentation, intervention and prevention or
towards any one or more related objects or purposes which are charitable
in accordance with the law of New Zealand, which related objects
and purposes are declared to be the objects and purposes of the
Trust.
